About Carolyn Thompson

Carolyn Thompson is a Canadian journalist and photographer interested in multimedia and data journalism. She most recently reported for the Telegraph-Journal newspaper in New Brunswick, covering immigration, education, social issues, and politics. She has been published in multiple newspapers and magazines, and reported for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Her journalism career began with an internship at the Daily Voice newspaper in Cape Town, South Africa. She also reported from Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo, while working with Search for Common Ground, a media-based NGO.
